SF Doodles is friendly and welcoming online community that includes website, social media: Facebook & Instagram, Meetup Group and organized events (The “SF Doodle platform”). SF Doodles was created to connect doodle owners around a common interest: our love of doodles!

Community Guidelines are in place to keep SF Doodles a fun, informative, and respectful place where we can all have furry fun together. By joining SF Doodles group on Facebook or Meetup, and/or attending events organized by SF Doodles, you agree to the following Community Guidelines as terms of membership:

  • Treat others online as you would treat them in real life

  • Be tolerant towards other viewpoints; respectfully disagree when opinions do not align

  • Respect the privacy and personal information

  • Communicate with courtesy and respect

  • Make personal attacks on other community members

  • Use defamatory remarks or make false statements against others

  • Post prejudiced comments or profanity

  • Bully or make inflammatory remarks to other community members

  • Always strive to add value to every interaction and discussion you participate in.

  • Before posting a question, browse through Resources, Recommendations and Discussions, especially if you’re new to the community.

  • Don’t post off-topic comments or discussions

  • Don’t cross-post the same thing multiple times

  • Check if another active discussion on your topic has already been posted

  • Don’t give treats to other doodles without the owners’ approval. Some dogs have food allergies and are limited on what they can eat.

  • Avoid bringing intact doodles (i.e. dogs which are not spayed or neutered) over the age of 1 year.

  • Don’t bring your doodle if they seem ‘under the weather.’ They could be coming down with something contagious and might pass it on to other dogs.

  • If your doodle consistently harasses or mounts other dogs or people, be prepared to give your doodle a time out from play or to leave the romp all together. Even the sweetest, most well-mannered dog can have a ‘bad day’ and find a certain dog or a particular mix of dogs too stimulating or not to their liking.

  • If you have an extremely high energy doodle, consider taking them for a nice, long walk before coming. This way he or she is less likely to over stimulate the other dogs in the group.

  • If you are bringing children to a romp make sure they don't become excitable around the group of doodles. We don’t want to scare any dogs that are not used to/ comfortable with children.
